Where will your Legal Education Take You? (NLW 2022)

Check out the library's newest career guide Where will your Legal Education Take You? which features over 30 potential career paths with those with legal degrees. Each career path includes the type of work that each professional does and provides suggested resources to explore the career path at length. Some sections will also recommend specific courses, law programs, or clinics specializing in that area of law. Additionally, many sections will highlight UW Law faculty who have done work n these various legal areas.

Virtual Escape Rooms (NLW 2020)

Try one (or all!) of our virtual escape rooms created by library staff with you in mind! Escape rooms are designed for group collaboration so get a team together and test them out! Each room takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.

Escape Rooms:

  1. Legally Trapped
  2. UW Trivia
  3. My Cousin Vinny
  4. Creating a Constitution for Animal Crossing

Tips on how to Set-Up a Group Virtual Escape Room

What you'll need:

  1. Friends or colleagues to help with the escape!
  2. A steady internet connection
  3. Zoom (or similar virtual conference service)
  4. A can-do attitude

There are two ways to complete a collaborative escape room:

  1. Zoom room host shares their screen with other meeting attendees while answering escape room questions. This allows all in the Zoom meeting room to synchronously view the screen of the host, who will control the action of the game.
  2. Each party in the Zoom room can complete the desired escape room in their own browser, simultaneously. The question sequence of each escape room is predetermined, so everyone will follow the same course if the same answers are provided.

And that's it! We hope you enjoy these virtual escape rooms! If you are doing one escape room per group (option 1), please be sure to answer the final question in each escape room (about party size).

Happy escaping!
